Product Description

CMP45 Chlorinated polypropylene CPP

1. Vinyl Copolymer Resin
Copolymer of vinyl Chlorid-e and vinyl  Isobutyl ether

Structure:
O - CH- CH(CH3)2

- (CH- CH)- (CH2 - CHCl)n -

Description:
CMP resin, with its full name as copolymer of vinyl  Chlorid e and vinyl  isobuty l ether, is produced by polymerization of vinyl Chlorid e monomer,
vinyl isobuty l ether monomer and other raw and auxiliary materials, and mainly used in the anti-corrosive coatings and composite printing inks.
It is a substitute of chlorinated rubber using carbon  tetraChlorid e solvent process.
It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, superior in the aspects of flexibility,
heat resistance, UV stability, alkali and chalking resistance. Moreover, it is miscible with alkyd, hard resin, acrylic and epoxy resin as well as plasticizer.
The Anti-corrosion performance index of CMP resin is higher than that of chlorosulfonated polyethylene and chlorinated rubber coatings,

Specifications:
Index CMP15 CMP25 CMP35 CMP45 CMP60
Viscosity mpa.s 15±5  25±5  35±5   45 ±5  60±8
K Value (Fikentscher) ca. 35
CL content % 44 ±1
Density g/ml     ≥0.30
Volatile matter % ≤0.50
Note: CMP35 / CMP45 / CMP60 mainly for composite printing inks.

Potential Applications:
As an excellent binding vehicle for composite printing inks, it is used in wide range of fields.
CMP resin has the following advantages:

1.
Good solubility: Soluble in most of solvents, such as benzenes, acetones and esters commonly used in inks production, in addition, the dissolved solution
has a higher degree of transparency.
2.
Excellent blending property: Easily blended with other ink binding vehicles to enhance its working performance, such as CPP, EVA and CEVA resins.
3.
High dispersivity: It has good dispersing and wetting properties to inks and dyes, ensuring the pigments fully display the primary color and transferability.
4.
Superior adhesion: The polymer chains contain a large quantity of ether bonds, which have strong adhesive strength to BOPP, OPP, PET and other plastic film.
5.
Good stability: There is no reactive double bonds, no saponifiable ester bonds in the resin, and the chlorin e atoms in the molecular link are very stable.
These offer ink layers strong resistance to heat, light, weathering, yellowing and chalking.

Packing & storage & transportation :
1, 20kgs/bag, 600kgs on a pallet, 12000kgs/1x20'GP with pallet, 14000kgs /1x20'gp without pallet.
2, CMP resin is liable to suffer from agglomeration due to its own glass transition temperature under high pressure & temperature, exposure,
moisture and other harsh storage or transportation circumstances. Therefore, keep sealed, avoid stress, keep away from heat source and humid environment during transportation. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Guard against moisture, sunlight and high temperature.

2. Chlorinated Polypropylene Resin
(CLPP / CPP)

Description: light yellow granular solid.
Chlorinated polypropylene CPP, in brief CPP is the modified thermoplastic resin of PP.
Its melting point is 80-160ºC based on different CL content.
It has superior abrasive resistance, ageing resistance and acid resistance.

Specifications:
Index CPP-C CPP-CL CPP-E
Content of chlorid-e (%) 28~33 24~27 34-40
Viscosity mPas 250~350 100~500 100~300
PH Value 5.0~7.0 5.0~7.0 5.0-7.0
Solubility Toluen-e   Toluen-e Ester (Non-Toluen-e)

Potential Applications:
CPP belongs to thermoplastic resins. It has strong adhesion to polypropylene (PP) as well as
polyethylene, paper and aluminum film, etc.
it is widely used in the fields of ink, painting and adhesives.

1. CPP can be used as an effective binder in the manufacturing of composite ink for the films of BOPP, OPP, PET, PE, etc.
2. CPP can be used as a composite adhesive between paper and films of BOPP, OPP, PET, PE, AL, etc.,
and an inner coating for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of BOPP films.

CPP with its good film-forming and glossiness properties and its strong affinity with pigment,
CPP can be used as colorant for plastic modification or as paint binder for polypropylene (PP) injection molding wares.

Packing & storage:
1, Net weight 20kgs / Carton, 600kgs or 640kgs/ pallet, about 12000kgs~12800kgs / 1x20'gp with pallet.
2, store in a cool, dry place. Avoid light.
