Xylooligosaccharide, also known as XOS, is a functional polysaccharide composed of two to seven xylose molecules with β - 1,4 glycosidic bond.
After years of research and experiments by many domestic and foreign experts, Functional oligosaccharides have become an important functional food ingredient because of their unique physiological functions,
which has attracted wide attention all over the world. Xylooligosaccharide has a strong effect on Bifidobacterium proliferation.
It is a functional polysaccharide formed by connecting 2-7 xylose molecules with β-1, 4 glucosidic bond, and is a super prebiotic.
Xylooligosaccharides act as a prebiotic,selectively feeding beneficial bacteria such as bifidobacteria and lactobacilli within the digestive tract.
A large number of clinical trials have been conducted with XOS, demonstrating a variety of health benefits, including improvements in blood sugars and lipids, digestive health benefits, laxation, and beneficial changes to immune markers.
